The Day after Chloe & Kevins wedding in Geraldton, I shot the Maynard family. Tash(the mum) seen my relatives family shoot that I did for them back in January & jumped at the chance when she knew I was coming to shoot Chloe’s wedding. & Oh am I so happy she did.! Its so good to have different scenery to shoot in.
Not only are these a good looking family, so my job was very easy. the kids were so cruisey & I felt like I knew these guys forever.
We had a coffee before we set out & waited out a huge storm. Geraldton is also known for its windiness so yes it proved a hassle every now & then as it was really constant. But heh a good learning curve for me as Tamworth isnt the most windy place. But Tash & Paris took it in their stride.
Thanks guys for asking me I had a blast & hopefully when I come over again we can catch-up for another coffee.

Just before I went away to WA I sneaked in a newborn shoot for the Marr Family. Ryan is their cutest little addition. He was such a cute baby. Not only that bonus but he was placid & loved the studio lights when he was awake.
What also made this special was these guys got me to do their first born Josh a few years back & so I got to meet him again & see what sort of kid he is. Such a cutie like his brother….blonde hair & big eyes & a cheeky little personality to match. Thanks guys. Your such a fab family goodluck with No.2

for my cousins Chloe & her fiancee Kevins wedding.
How awesome is this place. This place has the best photography spots for a wedding. WOW oh WOW I was in photography heaven!!!
& of course this couple was amazing (Im related to Chloe). I think definitely poster material….Image Bride I say.
These guys are the sweetest couple & have liked each other forever. All their friends & family over here were so fantastic & friendly. We had an absolute blast.

Last Saturday Plush & I did a huge day photographing all the students for the Country Music College(adults) & Camerata(13-18).
Yes it was a huge day but so fabulous!
I usually do this every year but was over in the USA this time last year & didnt realise how much I missed it & enjoyed doing it.
This was so sweet taking photos of people that are serious about their music careers & hearing them sing & play.
Also I love the pressure of taking 30 peoples photos in an afternoon-making them look different & bringing out their personalities. These guys were a great bunch…not pre-madonnas here. So eager to hear, learn to get great pics of themselves.

Welcome to my new set-up of my Blog please tell me what you think. Yes the categories or archives button isnt working but honestly I couldnt wait for tech support so enjoy(I will fix asap)!!! Joel & Leah
yes I guess thats a weird way to title a blog. But I have Joel & Leah’s wedding in October. & when I seen them at my tenth anniversary party a few weeks ago. I said this was a must.
Sometimes when you grow up with people that you class as you your close friends but were from two different parts of your life you think they will never come together but SURPRISE they did. I knew Leah when my I use to go visit my Dad in Bourke for school holidays so she was about 12ish when we hung out.
Joel I knew from Tamworth,where he grew up & yes we became close mates too. Yes a bit younger than me but heh whats age got to do with friendship.
So when I heard these guys had got together I was so happy for them…but I said to them “I need to shoot you together, to get this relationship in MY HEAD…weird huh I have never said that before. So this shoot fixed this.
We had a blast, they laughed at my lame jokes the light was GORGEOUS …all over fantastic. & yes now I can see them together forever.
Thanks guys cant wait to shoot their wedding.

Wow these pics are awesome once again Karissa! I don’t really have one favourite as there are too many I love! Who would have thought that storms and wind would have created such amazing pictures! Love these photos of a gorgeous Family. Looks like a lot of fun was had. Favourite one is the very first Family shot, also love Mum and Paris in the paddock and Craig and Eli in the old house ruins. Good job.

Your right absolutely love the tree shot with the couple looks amazing. Location was great some lovely shots for the family. Mum does look like a supermodel.
