I first met these guys a few years ago when I shot my first ever wedding in Armidale. Ever since then we have kept in contact.

Erin does amazing make-up but it also a designer so we had alot in common. SO when I found out she was expecting I was so happy for them.

As a wedding photographer I just get vibes whether a couple will last at their wedding & also if they want kids whether they will be great parents & in my non-professional opinion these guys ticked all the boxes…yep perfect 10′s from me!!!

Well the first wedding of 2012 was Candita & Shauns’ in their home town of Armdale. Rain threatened all day- forecast of 20-40 mm but by chance we only had a few drops.

I first met Candita & Shaun at Erin & Gavins wedding a few years ago. So when it came their time it was so nice to be asked to photograph their special day.

Candita having so many family & friends chose to have a huge bridal party- & I love big bridal parties….so we had a ball all day. Yes their bridal party were fun & got into the spirit. Candita & Shauns two kids were also in the bridal party. Usually kids have enough by the time the ceremony is over but nope not these two. They got into the spirit & loved it all.

Alyce & Luke get married in May this year & what a fabulous wedding its going to be!!They told me all their plans for their big day…& cant wait.

Their engagement session was just fabulous & these guys are just such a cute couple. So relaxed so cruisey & ready to try anything.

Luke proposed at this location we shot at…Bendemeer station so this shoot was really sentimental too….AWWW

This location as you will see is so picturesque. Boulders, hills, long golden grass & the golden sun too match…too perfect…too easy for me!!

That’s what my two weeks were about catching up with Family & friends,simply doing nothing ,camping & just catching up….& eating, lots of eating…The perfect holiday.

The last few days of our holiday we called in for a few days to Toowoomba to see our longtime friends The Ripoll’s. The eldest daughter & mate of mine is a great photographer & wants to get into the business for real so we decided to do a little shoot of her, her mum Mel & her sister Kayla & go thru a few things photography wise.Like a mentor session. So here’s our “play” session!!

Including a few pics of me. I have badly needed an updated photo for so long for my web page etc…..so Chloe took some. This was really hard for me but definately something every photographer should do….put your self in your clients shoes.

When Mel contacted me about shooting her wedding on Sunday for a few hours I definately said yes! I photographed Mel when I was first starting out with her sisters in a glamour shoot. & I see her mum who’s a florist.

Mel lost her Dad not that long ago to cancer…knowing how hard this is would be for her & her family I wanted to help her out as much as could.

Guys I have never shot a surprise wedding where the guests had no idea but I must say it was simply stunning so thankyou for letting me share this day with you.

I love your photos. We did there location shoot in just 20 minutes not wanting to be away from their guests to long…we took the pics just down the road & I must say how FUNKY…cool & classic these pics are. Thankyou for trusting me I hope you like!!
