Well the first wedding of 2012 was Candita & Shauns’ in their home town of Armdale. Rain threatened all day- forecast of 20-40 mm but by chance we only had a few drops.

I first met Candita & Shaun at Erin & Gavins wedding a few years ago. So when it came their time it was so nice to be asked to photograph their special day.

Candita having so many family & friends chose to have a huge bridal party- & I love big bridal parties….so we had a ball all day. Yes their bridal party were fun & got into the spirit. Candita & Shauns two kids were also in the bridal party. Usually kids have enough by the time the ceremony is over but nope not these two. They got into the spirit & loved it all.

When Mel contacted me about shooting her wedding on Sunday for a few hours I definately said yes! I photographed Mel when I was first starting out with her sisters in a glamour shoot. & I see her mum who’s a florist.

Mel lost her Dad not that long ago to cancer…knowing how hard this is would be for her & her family I wanted to help her out as much as could.

Guys I have never shot a surprise wedding where the guests had no idea but I must say it was simply stunning so thankyou for letting me share this day with you.

I love your photos. We did there location shoot in just 20 minutes not wanting to be away from their guests to long…we took the pics just down the road & I must say how FUNKY…cool & classic these pics are. Thankyou for trusting me I hope you like!!

These guys had a perfect day, yes we had rain as soon as we come out of the church but soon that cleared & as you see by the pics & the location they chose had the most AMAZING storm clouds!!

So Mel is the sister of  Natasha one of my all-time favourite weddings & brides…It seems like gorgeous/fun weddings just run in the family. Mel just looked simply stunning, their bridal party were alot of fun. I also loved Mels dress & her bridesmaids dresses…oh & the bridesmaids shoes…yes just bought me a pair today thanks guys!!

Mel & Matts’ wedding was all at “The Pavillion” & like the last wedding I did there they had it up the top where the light is magic & my opinion the couples look better as they arent in direct blinding sun & the guys aren’t cooking in their suits.

How cute is the blue little wall I found. Even though I shoot at “The Pavillion” a few times each month (because it is the most popular place in town) I like to find something different for each couple.

But with major flooding every where & rivers rising thru-out the day it was rather exciting.

The lovely Pavillion large pond flooded so the area where everyone gets married was under water. Amy & her team at The Pavillion changed the ceremony to up top & I must say I actually prefer this area to be married at. The light was just divine & the garden setting was just perfect!!

I would have to say Samantha & Zeb’s bridal party was just the best!!! I knew Zebs’ best man Daniel who is a video guy on the gold coast who does AMAZING wedding videos…no tacky 80′s movie moments. If you need a video guy he’s the one & is always looking for a chance to come back to Tamworth. Also Samanthas bridesmaid Corrina, I use to work with pre-photographer days!!

Samantha & Zeb were the cutest cruisey couple. We only had a short time to shoot location shots but these guys came thru & of course I had too many great pics to choose from!!
