The two girls, Eliza & Hannah  were identical twins it reminded me of myself & my twin…matching clothes or one in blue the other pink to tell them apart…I secretly think this is pretty cool still. The way they laughed at each other, twirled the same…was so cute. And I LOVE the fact that Steph had them photographed whilst they are missing / growing teeth. Alot of parents wait but I think its adorable & adds so much character!

Then add their two brothers Angus & Quade into the mix…it was all too easy!! SO many things to photograph…yep we all had a ball!!

Sarah & her bridemaids got ready at a cute little house that had so much character. I just adore when brides do this as it meanstheir thinking of their photos. Gorgeous light & room…thanks so much!!

Then it was off to the local Catholic Church in Inverell & I would have to say the priest officiating was one of the most friendliest & funniest ministers I have ever photographed a wedding in front of. He was very relaxed & funny he had the whole room laughing.

Then locations were so easy. Just down from the church I found this amazing location with so many textures to photograph against.

How I ended up shooting Marika & Heaths Wedding was a miracle… a” meant to be” I think. El her good friend, who I also shot their wedding a few years agowas booking a maternity session with me I mentioned I could possibly do her maternity shoot on this weekend as The bride had booked in had to cancel as they sadly broke up. Little did I know after getting off the phone El  contacted her good friend Marika saying” Im not sure if I should tell you this, whether this will make you happy or sad but Karissa who you originally tried to book is now available for your date. Marika & Heath did have another photographer booked & gave up the deposit for me…WOW thank guys I was flattered.

So honestly this day couldnt have been more perfect. The weather her dress, her location her family & friends & Glamour Empire did her makeup & Hair-WOW.

Marika got ready & had her pre photos at her sisters place…in which I would have to say is one of the most amazing homes I have ever photographed a bride in. The light in the house & all her vintage, funky furniture was AMAZING…so thank you I loved it.

Then the Dag for their ceremony & reception…of course is so cute!!

We drove quickly back into Nundle to get the lovely main street of its Autumn colors. Thanks guys again…I just loved your wedding & you guys are just such a cute couple. I hope your honeymoon is going well!!

Glen is part of the Squires family & I have photographed all the boys & their weddings. So when Glen & Kelly asked me to do theirs I couldnt say yes quick enough. Glen & Kelly had their ceremony at St. Johns & reception at The Pavillion. Everything went well very smooth.

The long weekend was the wedding of Hoody & Lisa. On the family property Wentworth, she grew up in they set-up an amazing marquee for their reception   & had a gorgeous ceremony on the banks of the Namoi river. 

The cotton had lost most of its leaves & all we seen was a sea of white. Simply spectacular! As you can see I had it very easy…the weather too was perfect with a gorgeous blue sky & whispey white clouds that made an amazing sunset pics.

I think this wedding for me too shoot at was meant to be. Originally I had the weekend off as I was going away & Lisa & Hoody had another photographer booked. My plans fell thru so I thought I may as well work if I could get a wedding this late & the photographer they booked had to cancel a few months out. & bingo I was able to shoot their wedding!

Lisa & Hoody live in the Northern Territory so not only did they come a long way home to get married they bought alot of fabulous friends home with them.

So everything about this day was perfect- the weather, the couple, the funny groomsmen, their amazing family & friends.

A huge Thankyou to Crossroads Hotel in Narrabri where we did the boys photos…this would have to be one of the best pubs I have ever photographed in…thankyou so much guys!
