She slept she laughed & she was wide awake. & had only a few little cries when she was hungry.

What makes this shoot so special is that I shot Adam & Kristy’s wedding, there pregnancy shoot a few weeks ago & now I get to document this special part of their journey together of their first-born..awwww. & whats best out of all this- you can tell it only makes their love stronger & yes they are so in love as a couple.

But heh nerves are good. It means your not over confident. But really I cant wait. I met the Tash & Gav Yesterday & cant wait to shoot their wedding. Just simply a gorgeous couple!!

But a few days ago Jodi(my upcoming bride for October who I must say is one of my greatest fans & just a fab girl) emailed me with a great question. So here it is:

She was wondering if she should swap shoes through-out the day. Yes she wants killer heals to look amazing but we all know these can bring a bride undone by the end of the day. So she was asking should she?

Whats your response?

Mine is always & yes I tell my brides every wedding before I meet up with them:

Pack a pair of thongs/flats. You need to be relaxed & we live in the country so 90% of your shots on location will be on sinky grass, dirt etc.

If your feet are killing you yes this will come out in your face on the day. A slight move the wrong way or a natural laugh, stumble as a couple can just turn out not happy.

So after all the ceremony formal things are out of the way & on location why not swap. Trust me you will be HAPPY. & your photos will show it.

But heh if your the ultimate Goddess & that can wear killer heels(yes there is some amazing freaks that can, that I seriously look up too) GO FOR IT!!!

On another note I met up with a fab bride yesterday(yes thats you El – January cool, party bride…sounds like shes needs her own calendar) & we were talking about blogs ideas & I said heh found amazing idea & BAM she already thought of it. I just adored everything about her wedding & in particular her make-up.
Her make-up was flawless & of course she did it herself. Erin works in the make-up section in Priceline in Armidale & yes she does her job fabulously. Shes a range of knowledge &colours she picks for you is just plain amazing. So when she mentioned she was entering a competition for Priceline a national competion & wanted some photography tips.
Thats when I jumped in said I’d love to help. Something a little different to what Im use to. Heres the results & surprise of course she WON!!!
Yes a National Competiton out of all the priceline stores & yes of course it was really competitive.
Congrats Erin I just adore the pics, & the make-up style you won with.
