Welcome to my new set-up of my Blog please tell me what you think. Yes the categories or archives button isnt working but honestly I couldnt wait for tech support so enjoy(I will fix asap)!!! New change, new colours, new background that I still may change. Let me know if you like or dislike, do I need to change something but now for the important stuff a new blog entry:
Joel & Leah
yes I guess thats a weird way to title a blog. But I have Joel & Leah’s wedding in October. & when I seen them at my tenth anniversary party a few weeks ago. I said this was a must.
Sometimes when you grow up with people that you class as you your close friends but were from two different parts of your life you think they will never come together but SURPRISE they did. I knew Leah when my I use to go visit my Dad in Bourke for school holidays so she was about 12ish when we hung out.
Joel I knew from Tamworth, where he grew up & yes we became close mates too. Yes a bit younger than me but heh whats age got to do with friendship.
So when I heard these guys had got together I was so happy for them…but I said to them “I need to shoot you together, to get this relationship in MY HEAD…weird huh I have never said that before. So this shoot fixed this.
We had a blast, they laughed at my lame jokes the light was GORGEOUS …all over fantastic. & yes now I can see them together forever.
Thanks guys cant wait to shoot their wedding.
Now alot of my mates read this blog(well hopefully they do) please leave these guys a comment, some well wishes etc
You guys look so Happy & FAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAANTASTIC

Love the balloons….Leahs Fav colour—–Green cant wait for the wedding!

My Fav……Just love this!!!

Now to all my regulars I really need your help. Here is technology & It will save me heaps of time but the question is do you like & which one do you like? or any at all- or do you prefer the old way?
SO I will put a few large files-my favs then these two options….numbered gallery or lightbox…Simply option 1 or option 2
worse case you get to see in this post alot of Joel & Leah’s fab pics. Thanks for your help!! This may take a little longer to load due to all the options!!!
Happy Picking!!!

NAt & Russ are about to get married in a few small weeks. So when they said they were coming over to Tamworth to do last-minute wedding stuff I jumped at the chance to do their engagement shoot.
Nat & Russ live in Coonamble, further out west. But Russ’s family live in Tamworth hense why the wedding is in Tamworth & at The best place in town….The Pavillion.
This shoot was really happy & relaxed as you can see Russ is the typical Aussie bloke/larrikin & Nat just a cute sweet girl & yes they adore each other…lots & lots.
I will tell you more about tehm in a few weeks when they are all dressed up for their big day. But I do love how Nat changed outfits twice thru the shot…& yes I adore her green top. I loved it that much I think she should wear that colour green for her big day it suited her that much!!! But Im sure white will look gorgeous on her as well.

keepin it natural

just NIIIIIICCEEE NAT

your going to make a stunning bride NAT

Russ’s idea

love those clouds

A few weeks ago on our final dust storm day to date Clayton, Sam & I got together for their engagemnet shoot. Yes it was freezing, yes it was really windy(as it has been after ever dust storm) but did we get some amazing shots. I know there is a few sunset shots but it was sooo amazing as you will see & try & take one out…I couldn’t choose. Besides we probably wont get one on their wedding day as good as this as we will be starting to party for their reception.
Clayton & Sam are getting married at Tangaratta next Saturday so Im assuming it wont be as cold. I really cant wait for their big day as not only are they easy to photograph, these guys have also booked a slideshow. I just love slideshows. Yes its really stressful but I just love the emotion & feeling in the room as we play their pics from their day on the big screen. It Just brings all your guests together & put goosebumps on everyones arms & puts lots of tingles & invisible stars in the room. i know this description sounds girlie but heh ask anyone that has seen one & they will tell you the same.
So look out next Saturday I know you guys will blow me away. Cheers Karissa

told it was good…go the sunset

a big hooray to sam as the wind just blew her hair around but she managed to make it look amazing

Last Sunday when the sun was shining I got together with Karlee & Brendan for their engagement shoot. A little at the park then out to the pine forests in Armidale. The same location I used a few months ago. But its changed a little since been burnt. a bit more greenery is coming thru. VERY NICE location.
These guys are such a great couple & have been together forever.
They have chosen the most popular or hottest day of a wedding photographers year-Saturday of the October Long Weekend. They are getting married in my home town of Wee Waa so Im excited to go back their & catch up with some locals & friends.
Karlee had her little brother Ethan over for the holidays so I had to get some pics of him as he was such a poser & a cool kid. Thanks guys for this shoot-very relaxing & cruisey cant wait to photograph the big now!!!

A few weeks ago I got together with Dale & Danni to do their engagement shoot. What a great couple. From the time I met with these guys I knew all would be sweet. Some people you really click & these guys I did. Cant wait till I shoot their wedding next year. It sounds fantastic. Hope you enjoy the pics guys.

Jodi gives 2 big thumbs up!! I love it! I also prefer option 2. It gives a thumbnail of the images so its good for easy referencing to the photos you know you want to see over and over. For example, I was instantly drawn to the photo of the green balloons in the field. I loved how I could just enlarge it with one click, without having to remember what number the image was in the first option. Does that make any sense?

What an awesome shot!!! Compliments to the photographer – Karissa you have captured all aspects of the scene. Their joy and love for each other shines through and the landscape envelopes them. Troy reckons he didn’t realise Joel was so strong…

I like the option at the bottom… I like being able to click through he photos as fast or as slow as I like. but I’m not a fan of things that take too long to load… I truly am a product of my generation…
These are amazing images Karissa… I can’t wait till our next shoot…

Hi Karissa
I love these piccies and the new style you are using. I agree with your other regulars that it is easier to navigate and pinpoint which photos I want to focus on. The photos are just GORGEOUS. I especially love the one under the tree where they are looking into each others eyes and he has his hand around her neck – just yummy!!! It also reminds me that it is 5 months today exactly until we get married and apart from the fact of being uber excited, I also need to book us in for our engagement shoot – probably sooner rather than later before the spring crazy wedding season starts again I am assuming?
Cheers and thanks for what you bring to the world. You are a true talent.
Cheers
Anna
