O.k so this is probably not a post you’d expect to see on a photography blog but, believe it or not, yes this can either make or break your day.
AND NO IM NOT ADVOCATING ROASTING YOURSELF IN THE SUN
So honestly this post is probably not directed at all you tanned goddess’s out there. Yes you know who I’m talking about the girls that need to spend half an hour outside mowing the lawn & an hour later you look like you have just stepped out of a salon. Needless to say warning to my upcoming brides who are like this: If you are wearing a strapless gown please wear a boob-tube whilst mowing the lawn. As a strapless gown with “out-there” tan lines does not do wonders for your photos
No this is directed to people like myself who want to be that girl above.
The extent of my tanning is trying to get my 99,672 freckles to join together only to fail & end up with a miserable shade of red….lobster red & the lovely pain to go with it.
Yes, I must admit that if I had the time I would be addicted to spray tan. In fact I have my own tent & machine but lack the skill to apply myself. But do when I can!
I’m sure a few of you are cringing & saying “all fake tans look fake & orange”. But no, we are no-longer in the 90′s, & fake-tanning has come along way.
Take for example my Bride Nat below. She got her tan, hair & make-up done at Plush in Tamworth & yes she looked great…no wait hot. I loved her tan it was Natural.
Plush use a tan that takes 2 hours to develop & have a light tan. So yes its good on us “whities”.
The other thing to think about is a lot of our grooms work outdoors & are already have the ”sunkissed” look. So having a natural tan just helps you blend with your man.
Also tanning can hide skin flaws & makes you look skinner all over, which makes you feel more confident. Yes this is my claim. But tell me if if you disagree.
& yes a white dress can make you look a little whiter.
Just little word of advice: to check a tan TRIAL…TRIAL…TRIAL & after a day take a few pics see what it looks like. As yes there is some dodgy tans out there….so BEWARE!!

So once you put the whole package together; great hair & make-up, great tan & hot looking bride you get “AMAZING”
